As per reports, the Galaxy S3 will have a new Exynos processor – the Exynos 4412. This is a 32nm quad-core chip based on the ARM Cortext A9 architecture, which means the processor will be upgraded from a dual-core to a quad-core chip.
In addition, the S3 will have 2GB of RAM (the S2 had 1GB), which will make handling multitasking and gaming more effective. The phone is expected to run on the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, have a 12 megapixel camera and a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen at 1280 × 720-pixel resolution supporting LTE.
